On 11 June 1899 Amelia Waller aged 24, of 61 Lord Street, married Peter Love Dempster, 23, of 56 Cathcart Street, at the Parish Church Birkenhead. He was a Sailmaker and his father William John Dempster was a Rigger.

On 16 March 1900 William George Dempster was born. He was baptised at Birkenhead St. Mary on 9 May 1900. Parents Peter Love and Amelia Dempster, abode 21 George Street.

In the 1901 Census they are living at 1 Athol Terrace Birkenhead. Peter, 24, is a Ship Sailmaker, Amelia is 26 and William George is 1.

In Q4 1902 Doris Dempster’s birth was registered. She was baptised on 16 November 1902 at Birkenhead St. Peter, parents Peter and Amelia Dempster. In Q4 1904 her death was registered.

In Q3 1905 Peter Murry Dempster’s birth was registered. He was baptised on 6 August 1905 at Birkenhead St. Peter, parents Peter Love and Amelia Dempster.

No trace of them in the 1911 Census via familysearch.org. They are definitely in the census in Lancashire according to ukcensusonline.com and ancestry.co.uk. Peter is listed as Peter L. Dempster.

In Q1 1912 the birth of Amelia A. Dempster was registered in West Derby, mother’s maiden name Waller.

In Q4 1929 Peter M Dempster married Eleanora M Lindahl in West Derby Liverpool.

In Q1 1932 a Peter L. Dempster died in West Derby aged 56, this is the right age and West Derby matches up with his son’s marriage.

In Q3 1936 the marriage of Amelia A. Dempster and Thomas Carney was registered in Bootle (Lancashire).

In Q4 1953 the death of Amelia Dempster was registered in Bootle, aged 80. The date of death is given as 10 December according to a hint from myheritage.com.
