Edith Vera Harvey (Née Waller) (1900-1937)

In Q4 1900 Edith Vera Waller was born to George James and Edith Emma Waller in Birkenhead, and baptised on 14 October in Leicester, where Edith Emma’s family lived.

In 1901 they were living with the Byrne family at 217 Price Street, and George, 24, was a Railway Timekeeper. Edith Emma was 23, and Edith Vera was 6 months old.

In 1911 the family were living at 14, Park Road, Port Sunlight and George, aged 34, was a Member of the Port Sunlight Fire Watch Brigade. Port Sunlight was built by Lord Lever to house his employees. Edith Emma was 33, Edith Vera 10, Ethel Valentine 8, George Leslie 5 and Bessie Wills 3.

On 3 September 1932, Edith Vera Waller married Harry Harvey, son of William Harvey, in Derby.

In Q4 1937 an Edith V. Harvey died in Derby.

In Q3 1969 a Harry Harvey died in Derby. His date of birth was recorded as 9 May 1905, which ties up with his baptism record.
