Elsie May Edwards was born on 2 March 1930. She was christened on 19 March at St. John’s Church Birkenhead, father’s name Edward Thomas Edwards, mother’s Fidelia.

In 1955 Elsie May Edwards married Stephen Hawksworth. They had a son, Stephen E. Hawksworth, in 1957.

Elsie May Hawksworth died in October 2020.
